Long Branch Amusement Park Before the 1912 Tornado

 

The above pictures show the entrance to the Long Branch Amusement Park prior to the 1912 tornado. On the left is the view looking back at the trolley station in front of the park. The picture on the right is the view from the trolley station looking at the entrance to the Long Branch Amusement Park.

 

 

 

This postcard shows the main area at Long Branch Amusement Park. The proof that this card predates the tornado is the fact that a copy of this card was published in the paper at the time of the tornado to show the appearance of the park prior to its destruction.
