Lena Rogers
was the first wife of James E. McGrath born 23 Jan 1864
Martinsburgh, Lewis Co., NY. Lena Rogers was born in
1869, she died in 1894 during childbirth. she was the daughter
of Patrick Rogers and Bridget Cannan |

"The back of the
McGrath stone with the names of James and
Bridgets' children who are buried in the cemetery. In front
of the stone are seven small stones denoting each grave,
included is Little Bridget. Her original stone is in
back and a little north of the family stone. I don't know if
they actually moved her or not." |
Patrick and
Bridget Rogers were the parents of Lena. The
stone BRIDGET E. seems to be the original stone erected
for Bridget Elizabeth McGrath born 6 August 1874
Martinsburgh, Lewis Co., NY daughter of James and
Bridget Ryan McGrath. She died 11 December 1878 |

Joseph M. McGrath (on the right)
born 1872 Martinsburgh, Lewis Co., NY, son of James and
Bridget Ryan McGrath. He died Saturday 7 Dec 1918 at the
home Thomas William McGrath, his older brother.
